Man, I love this show. Great scene when they ran off the blonde bitch.

When did Lip get so puritanical? This show has depicted minors fucking adults for 2 years, including his brother and Kash, and his current girlfriend who casually fucks her own meathead father, and he gets his panties in a bunch over this lady neighbor he doesn't even know?? Huh?

They seem to have ignored the whole plot of her having sex with her father and her having once been pregnant by him.

Well he said in the rant how he didn't like the thing with his brother.

That teacher was pretty good looking though.

Did they abandon the storyline that should have resulted from Frank's phone call at the end of last week's episode? I figured it would have come up last night, but maybe I missed it.

It's only the 3rd episode of the season. I'm sure something will come of it eventually.

I was thinking the same thing.

Any why do they have to make the characters so stupid when they're supposed to be street smart? Frank shaves Carl's head, and Lip believe it's because Carl has lice and Frank actually gives a shit? Everything Frank does is a scam!!!... how do they believe otherwise? Even Carl at his young age should know this.

Yes, he did throw that out there, but still it makes no sense that he seems to be on okay terms with Mandy's father and even enlisted him to get the child-fucker, when Lip knows Mandy's father is an incestuous child-fucker himself.

Plot holes aside, Lip 'seducing' the teacher was hilarious.

at Lip getting the BJ and manscape from the teacher. His seduction of her was hilarious.

Veronica beating the shit out of Kevin's ex and getting her to sign the divorce papers.

The whole thing with Frank trying to make Carl a cancer patient to scam the charity was kinda dumb though.

I was actually pissed that Frank pricked the baby with the thumb tack dipped in alcohol.

Other than that, fun episode as usual.

Renewed for a 4th season.

Not surprising. Ratings are up 22% this season.

Lots of good nudity this episode, except Fiona. I guess this show can't have everything.

So can we speculate on the cause of this? Dexter, Californication and Shameless are all up. Do you think it's because of how Homeland crushed it at the Emmy's causing people to subscribe to Showtime and keeping it through the winter season? Or do you think it has more to do with the overall quality of the shows and people realizing that the subscription was worth it for all these great shows?

Both. But, I think for the casual TV viewer, Homeland (awards) and Dexter (water cooler/internet buzz) is bringing alot more attention to the network and people are keeping their subscriptions year round now instead of cancelling after xx months.

I saw the tack as fitting right in with Frank's character. Esp. after he went off on how doctors were frauds and should be locked up. At least he was smart enough to dip the tack in alcohol so it wouldn't get infected, proving he's not totally uncaring.

The grave scene at the end with the guys passing the carpeted body over the fence was hilarious.
