Yeah really looking forward to it.
Here's a 3 minute featurette with Kevin Williamson talking about the show.
He's the creator and EP of the show.

And of course, I'm sure we'll have a few people bitching about it after it airs.
FYI, it's only a 15 episode season. Bacon had that put into his contract so that he could do movies.

15 episode season is probably for the best.

Before they even started filming the Pilot, When Bacon signed on, he only agreed to do 15 episodes. At least you know the season is structured for that episode order as opposed to 22 with some filler or 13 with the possibility for more.

Still, 22 would be a better option for every show.

FOX has been promoting this constantly for what seems like the past 6 months. I plan on tuning in.

Surprised FOX isn't starting this off with a 2-hour premiere. Feels like something they'd do for a hyped show like this.

Edit: my bad. I thought The Following was the lead-in to Bones, but it's the other way around. Probably the smart move to see if some of the Bones audience carries over.

Surprised at the excitement for this. It looks like just a serial killer of the week procedural with a hint of an overall bigger bad serial killer arch.

Purefoy was also on the 1st season of Revenge.

Re: The Following --> Series Premiere --> "Pilot" --> 1/21/13
Reading a few reviews (the reviewers got the first four episodes), their opinions seem to be mixed.
I say this because reading the reviews, I got the impression that a few have an axe to grind with network TV and others are (un-intenentional pun here) gun shy because of the recent violent events. It makes me wonder if this would scare viewers away.
For me, I am looking forward to the premier, regardless of the reviews. I will certainly form my own opinion. Figured that was an interesting item to share with everyone.
