Suits -- Season 2 (Winter episodes) -- Thursdays (USA)
Returned tonight after it's hiatus from the summer.
Tonight was episode 11 of 16
A criminal case resonates with Mike, making it difficult for him to separate his feelings from the case.
Not worth it to do weekly threads with only 6 episodes left this season.

Mike was SO dislikable in this episode it was hard to watch. Really?---He's going to lecture the kid about having been high and want to un-do the whole plea---all while being high himself at the time? They seem to have used this ep. to hopefully turn the course of his character, at least at the end, and I sure hope they do.

What the hell was that? Mike was a complete ass the entire episode, broke attorney-client privilege and then tried to blame things on Harvey who should have fired him on the spot. What happened to the witty banter and funny dialogue and interesting story lines? Instead we get jealous/judgmental/possessive Rachel who acts like She owns Mike. she continues to be freaking annoying. Harvey, Jessica and Donna need to break off and form their own show. What the hell happened to one of my favorite shows over the winter break? Jeebus.

I get the emotional turmoil Mike is having and how it's starting to really affect him. It shows that he's not an attorney and is why it's just stupid for the firm to keep him around.

i guess something will come of that chick Louis tried to hire, who "knew everyone" in her class.
Mike must've gone to the beach on break because he sure has some sand in his vagina.

I'm surprised Harvey got to Louis like that to force him to consider resigning. I guess it was that he treated Louis like Louis treated the associates (Howard). It was an interesting episode, but still didn't show who poached all of those 5th year associates. It made it seem like it was Louis, but why would he sabotage his office pool like that?
And they have to stop Mike giving that much power to Rachel. She's not worth the time to pursue and he should be with the blonde chick anyway. Not the married one, the one that his 'best friend' snaked from him.

After a horrible episode last week, this one was much better. Less Mike acting emotional and betraying the most important thing to a lawyer (attorney client privilege), and more smart people acting smart and devious. Good banter never hurts either.

Got to watch this last night and agree this one was more like Suits. Although the fun upbeat witty banter between Harvey and Mike is not there at the moment I was happy to see things back to what the show is about.
I hope they keep the redheaded lawyer on for more episodes as she is a good foil for Harvey and also not afraid of him either (or Jessica for that matter). They need to give her a little more to work with but she could be a solid recurring character.
I was happy to see Rachel essentially tell Mike to piss off. They'll keep them apart for a while longer but eventually they will get together (it's inevitable) because of course the big reveal about Mike to "the world" won't happen until they are a couple.

Great episode last night. Loved the interplay between Zaine, Harvey, and Jessica towards the end. The Louis subplot was funny as well.
Needs more Donna though.

Had Harvey not sent Mike into court those few times, would they have been in that much trouble with his not being a lawyer?

I still feel like this show's premise is a bit contrived. While there is more to practicing law than trying cases, I'm sure a firm like Pearson and Hardman could find a place for someone with Mike's specific skill set. But USA shows love to have a hook, and I'm not mad at them for it.
Watching the finale, I can't help but feel it was a little douchey for this show to have spoilers for Downton Abbey.

I didn't understand what case they were even litigating against their potential partner in the finale. The amount of malpractice going on in that was absurd.

Re: Suits -- Season 2 (Winter episodes) -- Thursdays (USA)
This past month I've been following the second season of this which I missed first time around. In the UK they've been showing an episode a night in advance of Season Three which starts tonight and will be on a weekly schedule.
I enjoyed seeing the season on week-nightly basis but felt that the finale was a bit rushed i.e. too much happened in a short time and most of it was implied rather than seen. It was almost like a series of set pieces without having to bother to write and act a proper episode. Like a clip-show - but not a clip-show.
