I'm actually impressed by Affleck playing the bad guy, in the trailer he seems to pull off the right amount of smugness.

Saw a clip of this on TV earlier, looks pretty decent could be enjoyable. Didn't realize it was directed by the guy that did Lincoln Lawyer, which I thought was pretty well directed/paced.

The trailer is laughably bad. It comes across as a parody. Affleck and Timberlake playing dress-up. These guys are marginal actors and the trailer and TV spots really drill that point home. I have a feeling this is going to be a cheese fest of the highest order. Hope I'm wrong.
Will definitely check this out via redbox, reviews be damned.

I dunno. I like the idea but Timberlake is an instant no-go for me. He's a horrendous actor. Like bad.

The great David Fincher couldn't get a performance out of him in "The Social Network". Again, IMO. Whenever there was talk about an Oscar nomination for him, I just laughed. He was so out of his league in that movie. Every time he's on the screen, I just say to myself "Look, it's Justin Timberlake". How the guy continues to get film work is a huge mystery to me. Especially when there are actually people who can act.

Saw the trailer. Looks like generic shit. I actually like Affleck as an actor now but this looks shitty.

This looks like a movie Ben Affleck would have made in 2003.

It was fun enough to watch - we went primarily because it wasn't too long - but I thought it was more akin to a tv movie or a superior episode of "Burn Notice" or the like.
