Vote for your favorite Best Picture nominee (2013 Oscars)
This has become an annual tradition, so once again let's see how far apart we are from the Oscar voters. Keep in mind that this is a poll for our favorites and not an attempt to predict the actual Oscar winner.
I still need to see some of these, but my initial lean is to Argo and I expect to change my mind.
Previous DVDTalk poll winners and (Oscar winners):
2012: Tree Of Life (The Artist)
2011: The Social Network (The King's Speech)
2010: Inglorious Basterds (The Hurt Locker)

I've only seen Django (man, I need to get to the movies more), but I doubt anything would surpass it for me.
I'll try to catch Lincoln, ZDT, and Argo before the show. Beasts is on demand now, so I'll try to rent it this week.

Oops, I already forgot that Django was an option.
I do think Silver Linings Playbook is more likely to win, but Django is the better film.

Tree of Life won last time? I have a short memory but there must have been some really shitty contenders on that poll.

War Horse
The Artist
Midnight in Paris
Moneyball
The Descendants
The Tree of Life
The Help
Hugo
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
By comparison this year's crop looks amazing.

Seen Django.
Lincoln and ZDT are now appearing at my nearest theater and I'll gladly check out one or the other this weekend (Too bad I can't get anybody to go with me to see either of these since fuckin' football is much more important)
I had a chance to see either Argo & Pi last month, but chose to see Man with the Iron Fists instead (Hey, I was on vacation!)
I'll check out BOTSW this weekend on PPV.
Would have perferred to see SLP before the Golden Globes, but I'll wait til it's available on Direct-Cinema before Oscar time.
I'll eventually get to Les Mis some time in the future (In no big hurry) and I definetly wouldn't mind seeing Amore because it's got Jean (GREAT SILENCE) Louis-Trintingnat as the male lead!

I have seen Lincoln, SLPB and Django.
Lincoln was incredibly boring. Not sure how it got a best picture nod.
SLPB is amazing. Watched it twice so far and is easily in my top 3 favorite all time. (my vote)
Django was very good. It wasn't great though. Best part about Django was easily Christoph Waltz.

Interesting results so far. I can use the early results to prioritize what I still need to see especially Django Unchained, which I still haven't gotten around to yet.
Life of Pi is getting shut out so far, but unlike Extremely Bad and Incredibly Boring last year, I do expect a few votes there.

Django.
The only other nominee I've seen was Argo. The only other ones I'm interested in seeing are Beasts and Zero Dark Thirty.

Just got back from ZDT. It sits atop Django as far as my favorites go. Seeing Lincoln tomorrow.

Zero Dark Thirty
Argo
Silver Linings Playbook
Django Unchained
Les Miserables
Amour
Life of Pi
Beasts of the Southern Wild
Lincoln
The first film is a classic, the next 5 are very good and rewatchable, Life of Pi is pretty cool from a visual standpoint, Beasts is liberal rubbish and Lincoln is a piece of shit whose lack of quality has no word for.

Worst Oscar lineup in ages. Goes well with the waste of space they got to host this year. Life of Pi by default.
