Amazon AutoRip, Get MP3 Versions of Previously Purchased CDs

Read on somewhere this is for any eligible CD purchase going back to 1998. Checked my Cloud Player and found a ton of songs I have very vague memories of purchasing many, many years ago.
Also got an unexpected bonus for some of them: I received the 2009 remaster of Nick Cave's From Her to Eternity (bought the CD way before that) and I got the deluxe version of the Stones' Exile on Main Street (bought the vanilla CD back in 2001 or so).

Wow.. you guys have bought a lot of cds.
I think I had only purchased 3 actual cds from Amazon, with the rest being their MP3 cds. The 3 cds were added to my cloud.
It is a nice feature for sure.

I'm missing some tracks. There are some albums where they only Auto Ripped half the album into my player.

I've been buying CDs there since '99 so I should get a lot added. I've already ripped a number of them, of course.

Looks like it added about 125 albums for me, which seems pretty low. I typically buy 75 - 100 albums per year and would guess at least a third of those have been from Amazon over the past decade. Doubt it's worth the time to try to compare and see what they left off.
I am curious if this will eliminate the odd practice of sometimes pricing MP3 albums higher than their physical counterparts. It would be pretty stupid if it didn't.

I just got an email 5 minutes ago letting me know that the albums were in my cloud. Looking at all that is in there my family and friends have really bad taste in music based on what I have bought as gifts the last 15 years. I was robbed a few years back and lost all of those cds. Now I don't have to rebuy a bunch of it.

I opened the page about 2 hours ago. When I went back to it an hour later it had popped up saying the songs were added. I think it's processing accounts as we speak.

I see this at the top of my Cloud Player:
Note that this works for CD purchases on Amazon going forward. So instead of buying an MP3 album on Amazon, you can buy the CD version, and Amazon will "Autorip" it to your Cloud Player account (assuming it's an eligible album).
AutoRip update: due to high demand, we are experiencing delays. We will email you when we have added your music.

Nothing added on mine yet. I know I've purchased at least a few albums on Amazon lately so I'm curious as to how much will get added. Cool feature though.
Edit: Just checked again a couple minutes after this post. They added 361 songs to my library. Not a ton but still cool.

My CDs weren't there about 30 minutes ago but just got an e-mail from Amazon that 50 CDs have been added to my cloud player library. I checked and they are there.
You may have noticed that songs from 50 CDs you have purchased from Amazon were added to your Cloud Player library. This means that high-quality MP3 versions of these songs are available for you to play or download from Cloud Player for FREE. You can find your songs in the "Purchased" playlist. Please note that some songs from the above CDs are not eligible for this feature and may not be available in your Cloud Player library.
