Synopsis:

"Fowl Play/Date" - After Brad and Penny accidentally break Alex's beloved childhood memento, they try to glue it back together. But they go from just being clumsy to "birderers" after Tyler, Alex's racist parrot, keels over and dies from the glue fumes. Can they cover up the crime before Alex returns from her Rom-Com Com? I know this is airing twice a week to probably burn off all remaining episodes quickly, but this is show is really funny. It's too bad the audience just isn't there for it.

I kinda liked two back to back comedies on Sunday night. Has this ever been done successfully?

Unfortunately the ratings were awful last night.

"On ABC, new episodes of "Happy Endings" (2.57 million viewers and a 1.0 key demo) and "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" (2.23 million and a 0.9 key demo) failed to get a big sampling."

For Happy Endings, that's lower than the shows's previous low of 2.98 million viewers (which was a random season one episode they burned off out of the blue in August 2011). And it's an all-time low for B in 23. The last new Happy Endings had 3.16 million viewers.

Yeah apparently noone in this forum watched last night either. Or some here had no idea it was on last night.

I had to go to work at 6am this morning, so I couldn't stay up late. I'll watch this later on tonight.

I recorded both shows but haven't watched them yet, but surely ABC can't expect them to get any decent ratings in the 10pm hour, can they?

This episode was fucking hilarious - the con scene at the beginning was a highlight and lots of great lines throughout.

"Heat 2: It's getting hot up in herrrre".

As mentioned in a previous thread, the show is getting pulled in March off Tuesday night because of Dancing with the Stars. There is no other timeslot available and there will be a shit load of unaired episodes. Since 666 Park Avenue is cancelled, they thought using this timeslot for a few weeks was a good idea to help get more episodes aired (doubling up with Tuesday).

Again another hilarious episode. So many funny lines that are just slipped in and not just to set up a punch line like many comedies.

Really like the show, and this was another great episode.

Love the show, and I don't know why it's not catching on. It's like a demented version of Friends. This episode is a great example.

Also the scene where Dave and Jane express their displeasure at Max choosing Marcus over either of their guys was so good.

I could not stop laughing at the parrot photos. I love that they had to take all of those.

Elisha Cuthbert is really incredible on this show. I was a fan of her hotness from 24, but now I think she's fucking hilarious too.
