man, i thought this ep. and pretty much the whole season sucked. couldn't even make it to the end of this one.

Finally got a chance to watch this last night. Hilarious from start to finish. I loved this whole season... too bad it was only 10 eps. Long wait til September/October for season 9.

This season was certainly better than the last, but I wish they were better about working the tie-ins from established characters (Artemis, Rickety Cricket, the McPoyles, the Waitress, etc.).
And this episode? There was someone in the bar in the background during the "court case" that I thought was gonna jump in for a joke... but it really was just a toss away. What was that about?

This season wasn't the best, imo. However, the finale was great. Ended on a high note.

I think earlier seasons had patrons in the background more often, although they didn't call attention to it much. Now the bar always seems empty when they're doing something crazy in it (see: Chardee MacDennis). I've been assuming the events take place before the bar has opened for the day, or just that they're bar is such a massive failure it's often completely empty.
