"It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again. " Poor woman...bad track record with serial killers.

So was the monsignor dead up on the cross?

I guess the devil/demon wants to make it to Rome.

Two week break isn't too bad. Better than rushing an ending like last season.

The preview would seem to answer your question...

The preview was very spoilery. Plus, it was really good. Glad it is a relatively fast hiatus.

I thought for sure McShane was gone, so it was a treat to have him back. He was cracking me up at the hearing with his redemption story. He's a great actor.

Another great episode. I do think the ending was over the top, no way Ian McShane's character could lift up and nail a man to that cross. There conveniently happened to be a hammer and 10 inch nails nearby?

Which is too bad, because up until that point the show has been firmly grounded in reality.

Yes, because abnormal human strength was an established law in the American Horror Story universe Please sir, point out another occasion on the show where a character (not possessed by a demon) did something physically unrealistic.

The characters in the show are all normal functioning humans, that's been established.

I'm pretty sure last season they were working right up until the last minute to get the season finale to air before Christmas. I think they even cut an episode out that they had planned. Or else the season finale was supposed to be 2 hours but we only got an hour an ten minute episode. Not sure how much of the actual resolution was affected by the tight schedule.

Modern day BloodyFace tore off Mr. Levine's arm in episode 2 or 3.

How do we know he did it himself? Did they show him do it? Maybe the possessed nun helped him. It has already been established that they have been conspiring together.

Well someone or something tore off his arm. Was it established that it was modern day bloodyface?

It was implied during the phone call that bloodyface made that he did NOT kill anyone but the imposters.

Interesting. I'm assuming MD BloodyFace still tore off the arm and that the imposters shot and killed Levine.
