Some sets rang up at $24.95 a couple days ago but are now at $14.95

I'm pretty sure Boardwalk Empire was 24.95.... I have to go to my store. I can't believe it is 14.95

YEP, my walmart had the display but "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific" were $24.95 ...I picked them both up- Might want to check that display a little more closely my friend-

'Pacific' and 'Boardwalk' were both $24.95 but dropped to $14.95 today (I bought both)

Which seasons of Eastbound & Down are included?

I know Season 3 came out this week (last week?) and I haven't purchased it yet.

I'd love to get it for $10.

If thats the case with my local WM then hell I'm returnig "Pacific",(WM takes anything back!), and re-purchase the cheaper one! Thanks, I'll be checking today for sure-

Many thanks for the info Rusty! Took back "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific" this AM. Told them some of the discs froze, skipped etc in each set. Yes they belive anything at my WM!!!...(I know a little sneaky but HEH!). Anyway they gave me store credit and re- bought those 2 and also picked of "Boardwalk Empire" CS 1 & 2 all for a total of $63.00 and change...Whoo-hoo Xmas a little early for me! Again thanks for the info-

At the store here they will only give credit if they no longer have the selection in stock or it's the week after Christmas. Otherwise they'll only do an exact exchange and they *open* the replacement so you can't just turn around and bring it back for credit.

My Walmart is the worst. It's got Seasons 1 and 2 of Eastbound and Down, but at $12.95 each. It's also got Seasons 1 and 2 of Boardwalk Empire, but the price didn't drop, and they're still at $24.95 each. No Oz, no Entourage, no Curb Your Enthusiasm, no The Wire.

Still, I guess that they just saved me at LEAST $90, so that's something.

Picked up season 2 of boardwalk for 14.95....season 1 rang up 24.95. I will look at the walmart by work on monday

My copy of Boardwalk season 1 rang up @ $14.96 but my season 2 did the same thing...rang up @ $24.96. I spoke with a manager and showed him the display and they immediately overrode it @ the $14.96 price! YMMV but If the display says "$14.96" , you should have no problem!

Like I stated My WM is VERY easy to deal with so exchanging the $24.96 "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific" and replacing them for the cheaper priced ones.. I had 0 problems yesterday doing that.

Why not re-buy the sets at the cheaper price and return with the first(higher priced) receipt? Two (assumed)perfectly good sets gone to waste and two new sets someone else could of purchased now gone.

May have to stop by and see if my local store has The Sopranos in stock. Missed out on the BBY complete series deal and I have pretty much given up on HBO releasing the rest of the seasons on BD.

They gave me store credit on the difference between the 2 sets! Since I shop there every week for groceries,( Yeah I do the grocery shopping in this family, My wife HATES to go to our local WM!!), I will just use the store credit next week. Simple as far as I was concerned-

I still gotta check the one by work. If it doesnt work Ill just take the UPC sticker off of Season 2 and put it over Season 1

I checked prices again and 'Pacific' and 'Boardwalk Empire' are both back to $25

They all look to be back up to 24.95. This had to have all been an error. No where did any of the 3 Walmarts I went to had these displayed as 14.95
