The Walking Dead -- Midseason Finale -- "Made to Suffer" -- 12/02/12

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
A situation in Woodbury throws inhabitants for a loop and forces Andrea to take charge, while a new threat arises at the prison.

Episode 8 of 16

Last episode of 2012. The show will return in early 2013. Probably around February is my guess, which was the same time it came back last season.

I hope they tone down the zombie killings and increase the number of dialog scenes!

They've pretty much gone off the rails in regards to Comic storyline vs TV storyline.

Yeah, but they keep just enough of the comics details to keep one guessing.

Unless it's just pure fan-service, I'm betting the zombie-killing tonight will be replaced with people killing.

And more Michonne. She just lights up the screen every time she speaks!

Re: The Walking Dead -- Midseason Finale -- "Made to Suffer" -- 12/02/12

Awesome episode and mid-season finale. Everything at Woodbury was fucking fantastic, and Michonne finally did something awesome in that fight with the Governor. Crashing into the heads and stabbing him in the eye was pretty sweet. The save of Glenn and Maggie was pretty sweet too, although it seemed awfully easy for Rick and company to get in there. I guess nothing but that front gate is being defended?

It was pretty funny to see everyone's prediction come true and trade token black guys yet again Glad to see Tyrese as a comic book reader, although i'm sure for everyone else those scenes were pretty boring. It was funny to see Carol called a lesbian though

The end was set up pretty great too, I was wondering how the Governor would react to Merle since he had told them he dealt with Michonne. The end with Daryl/Merle was set up pretty nicely.

The Governor's eye also healed up pretty quickly. I'd think he would be in agony for quite some time, not back out there holding meetings and whatever that quickly. Minor annoyance.

Good episode. I just got satellite this week (after not having cable for several years) and this was the first episode I got to watch live. I sure don't miss commercials, though. Ugh.

I hope they just kill off Andrea. She's has constantly caused miscommunication and stupid woman problems for everyone. I want to punch her in her stupid face. There's really no reason to like the character.

Merle being an anti-hero is the only way out now. To continue from the last thread ... In February, butts will be munked!

I've wanted her dead since she started bitching Dale out in the first episode of S2. She's just too damn self centered for me. Lori never bothered me at all in comparison.

WHy would they write Andrea like that? She sees the aftermath of the Michonne/Guv fight complete with zombie heads and daughter, sees Daryl brought into the arena, and in the upcoming episode previews......
Spoiler:
she's still with Woodbury and The Governor? Thats just fuckin downright stupid.

As soon as the new black guy showed up I knew T-Dog 2 was a goner.

Re: The Walking Dead -- Midseason Finale -- "Made to Suffer" -- 12/02/12

Carl has really stepped up and taken charge, I guess you mature fast in the zombie apocalypse.

I thought the Governor was going to point at Andrea as the mole. Kind of surprised Merle went so meekly without even trying to protest his innocence. I can still see Merle and Darryl fighting their way out of that situation though.

Axel moving in on Beth and then Carol. Smoooth!

Special Guest "John Bernthal"???? Did anyone catch that? Was he the guy that shot Oscar? I thought it kind of looked like him.

My question is how the Governor knew that their "terrorist" prisoner was Daryl? Did he give up his name?

Also, Michonne is stupid...take the bag off the head before you unchain even if you think it's a normal little girl.

Yeah. Did you miss the part where Rick flips out and thinks the guy walking toward him is Shane at the end?

OK, yeah, it went by so quick and he was in shadows. I thought it looked like him but after Rick shot him he looked different. I went back and watched it again and can see it was him.

Nice to see the governor in his eye patch and duster.
