On those $14.96 HBO sets they also have seasons of Rome and DeadWood. These are in one of those cardboard displays set up in an isle.

Going @ midnight to make sure I get batcowl edition, but most are telling me the electronics sections are going to remain closed until 7 am. Going to try the one that said they will keep electronics open, although clerk said he didn't think they had the batcowl edition.

looks like those 14.96 prices are wrong, at least for some of the sets. 24.96 for True Blood S4.......kinda doubt that broken cowl is only 25$.........

Boardwalk s2 is 14.96 but s1 is 24.96.
They also had Sopranos for 14.96 each and Curb Your Enthusiasm up through s8 for 14.96.

Only 2 batcowls per wal-mart. Some stores employees kept them. The first one I went to "didn't receive any."

I thought $15 for The Pacific was unnaturally low. I saw it for $25 in-store yesterday. I'm not interested at that price.

There was a big HBO stand at my store with the Pacific and a bunch of others listed as $14.96. I didn't scan it though.

The HBO display has titles ranging $9.95 - $24.95. ('Deadwood,' 'Wire,' etc. at $14.95 - 'Band of Brothers,' 'Boardwalk Empire,' etc. at $24.95)

I went to the store near my work this morning. They didn't have them out, but I asked and she was able to find it. The thing rang up at 32.96 tho! So I looked that the ad and that is what it said here in WI.. I looked up the AD in IL, which is near where I live and its 24.96.. So I'll be going down there before work tomorrow to get it adjusted.

The argument could be make that IF it was successful, then it wasn't money wasted. But since it failed, it was definitely a waste of money...
I truly hate that law, and I'm not driving to Gurnee just for a BD bargain. Tis OK, I prefer bonus discs anyway, so BB wins.
