Three Stooges Rare Treausres NOW to be available as a MOD/DVD-R selection on 1/1/2013
Guys and gals, check www.thedigitalbits.com in the 11/19/2012 section of news to see that Sony will finally and have decided to release the Rare Treasures set as a separate entity on 1/1/2013 but via MOD/DVD-R format.
"For you MOD fans, Sony will release the following titles on DVD-R on 1/1/2013: Dead by Sunset, How to Save a Marriage (and Ruin Your Life), I Dream of Jeannie: 15 Years Later, Love Walked In, Once More, With Feeling, Who Was That Lady?, It’s All Gone Pete Tong, Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing, Flight Into Nowhere, Charlie’s Angels: The Complete Fifth Season and The Three Stooges: Rare Treasures from the Columbia Pictures Vault"

Yeah, that's why I ordered mine off of Amazon for about 22 bucks. A little more than I wanted to pay but still a lot less than buying the entire darn thing all over again and the discs are pressed.

I don't care about MOD or not, but why would they make this an MOD when they already have actual DVDs already pressed?

I think the best thing to do is buy the Ultimate Collection and sell the duplicate sets. It's currently $39.99 at Best Buy. I'm sure this MOD is going to be around the $20 range anyways.
