Happy Endings -- "More Like Stanksgiving" -- 11/20/12
Synopsis:
"More Like Stanksgiving" - Alex and Dave host Thanksgiving dinner at their new place, and Dave gets a little sidetracked by his desire to share his heritage with his friends and give them a real Navajo Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Max gets his hands on a copy of the lost season of "The Real World" that he and Brad were on. The whole gang sits down and takes a walk down memory lane to when and how they all met 10 years ago -- but also gain some added insight on things they weren't aware of -- on "Happy Endings," TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20 (9:01-9:31 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Not alot of LOL moments in this one.
Dave's storyline once again sapped all of the humor out of the show.
I did get a good chuckle out of Alex's ergonomic "no carpal tunnel happening here" office chair.
... the Real World stuff fell flat as well.
Not a strong ep.

Agreed. It wasn't all that funny. It seemed like an episode that was more focused on the characters and their relationships rather than being funny.
I didn't think Dave's stuff was all that bad. I like how stupid he is. The reveal that he was right in front of the police station when he was trying to scalp the tickets was pretty funny.
I was hoping for better from the Real World stuff since I'm a big Real World fan. Yeah, I said it.
Looking at Elisha Cuthbert just never gets old.
So to summarize how they all met: Dave, Penny, Jane, and Alex were childhood friends. Jane and Alex are sisters of course. Max dated Penny in college. Dave, Jane, and Alex met Max through her. Max met Brad on the Real World and integrated himself into the group through Max and Jane.

Not sure but I must have been watching something different from you two. I loved this episode. Really loved the Vanilla Sky joke.
