Feb-March 2013 = Great Gaming Months Ever!
This will make history for sure. Feb-March is normally a completely dead period for game releases, but one has to marvel at the deluge coming.
Confirmed so far:
Dead Space 3 (2/5)
Metal Gear Rising (2/19)
Bioshock: Infinite (2/26)
Tomb Raider (3/5)
God of War: Ascension (3/12)
Gears of War: Judgement (3/19)
Possible Mar. releases:
Pikmin 3
Rayman: Legends
Crysis 3
Then Splinter Cell, Injustice and Dead Island Riptide in April!

It's interesting that so many big titles are coming out in that window. Maybe the developers finally just decided the pre-Christmas months were too crowded to have the best chance at huge sales. I can't wait for Bioshock and Dead Space, although the latest Dead Space preview has me a little worried about the direction they've taken it.

Don't forget January! It has some great releases like DMC & Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Oh man, I just looked at my Amazon wish list....redoing the kitchen may have to wait if I end up buying everything on release day

Re: Feb-March 2013 = Great Gaming Months Ever!
I think it had more to do with all those games (except the new GoW and GoW sequels) being targeted for a Winter 2012 release but needing more time and as a result a lot of top titles got moved into the same Spring 2013 window. It sure feels like the second half of 2012 is quite lacking in AAA titles compared to previous years and that's probably the reason why.

Wow, I only mildly care about one title on that list and I probably won't even get around to playing it until it hits $20.

I cannot wait for NNK. By far my most anticipated game of the last year.

I was thinking May as well. I think that Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 were both released on the third Tuesday in May, so my money's on May 21st.
