Grimm -- "To Protect and Serve Man" -- 11/09/12

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
HANK'S KNOWLEDGE OF NICK'S WORLD HAS HIM SECOND GUESSING A PAST CASE -- JASON GEDRICK AND LISA VIDAL GUEST STAR -- Hank (Russell Hornsby) starts reflecting on an arrest he made earlier in his career regarding a man (guest star Jason Gedrick) who committed murder claiming "self-defense against monsters." With the man's death sentence rapidly approaching and the knowledge he's recently gathered from Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank begins to wonder if there was more truth to the man's seemingly absurd story then he once thought. Back at the spice shop, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) finds himself involved in a situation he never saw coming. Bitsie Tulloch, Sasha Roiz and Reggie Lee also star.

Episode 11 of 22

1 more new episode left after tonight, then the show takes a very long break until January.

There will be only 10 episodes left when the show returns in 2013. I have a feeling the season will end early and a different show (Hannibal or Dracula) will take this timeslot.

When you say "I have a feeling the season will end early" do you mean you don't think all of the remaining 10 episodes will air? I thought this show was doing pretty well in ratings (for Friday night).

I think he means the fact that with only 10 episodes, they could run them all straight through and be done in early March. That would leave them 6-8 weeks to run a new show after that.

That's exactly what I meant. With barely over 2 months worth of episodes and about 5 months left in the season when the show returns in 2013, there just isn't enough to pad out. I could be wrong though, but padding out 10 episodes over 5 months doesn't seem feasible. They have a few mid season shows that need timeslots.

Okay, sure, I just would think of that as ending "on schedule."

Nice Set up to the fall season finale.

Loved the end with the Captain, Juliette, Monroe all in that shop. Sparks will fly.

The previews look spectucular!

Also Grimm is just killing in the Ratings:

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...o-week/156978/

From 9-10 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers
overall) captured the #1 rating of the night for a scripted program on
ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49. Versus the same night last year,
"Grimm" is up 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.6) and 2
percent in total viewers (5.265 million vs. 5.175 million). "Grimm"
built on its lead-in last night by 143 percent in both 18-49 rating
and total viewers.

* Keep in mind that last season, "Grimm" originals added an
average 69 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" 18-49
ratings when Nielsen issued "live plus seven day" results.
I think its pretty safe to say that Grimm will return for a 3rd season.
