The Talking Dead -- Special Season 3 Preview episode -- 7/08/12
The Walking Dead marathon started on Saturday morning with the very first episode of The Walking Dead and will continue to The Walking Dead season 2 finale on Sunday night. On Sunday, July 8 at 9 PM ET, a special episode of The Talking Dead will air, which will preview season 3 of The Walking Dead. The Talking Dead preview episode will include Executive Producers Robert Kirkman, Glen Mazzara, Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Alpert as well as comedian Drew Carey. Also, a special surprise guest will be calling in from Atlanta, Georgia. There will also be a scene shown for the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead.
And if that wasn’t enough reason to tune into the Talking Dead preview episode, here is one more reason. During the live Talking Dead episode, host Crhis Hardwick will announce a special code to viewers that they can use to enter The Walking Dead Watch to Win Sweepstakes. The winner of the sweepstakes will receive a trip to Atlanta and a “stagger on” role as a zombie on The Walking Dead.

Also, remember the black and white version of the Pilot also airs tonight at 10pm. If you have the special edition BD, it's already on there. But for those who don't have it, it's an interesting watch.
I've never watched The Talking Dead, but I'm recording tonight to see some nuggets/tidbits from season 3.
Remember, there is also a risk of some spoilers, so If you hyper-sensitive to it and don't want to know anything about season 3 until October, don't read this thread after the show airs. Simple as that.

Drew Carey is not watching the same show I am. It is a wonder how most of these people are still alive. I do like the Ricktorship.

I would reckon that the reason they did the Walking Dead marathon this weekend was because of the release of the one hundredth issue of the comic book and Comicon, which both happen this week.

Finally, The Walking Dead returns this Sunday at 9/8c. That means more Talking Dead, too! That's right: The Walking Dead's live after-show returns this Sunday at 11/10c as host Chris Hardwick is joined by guests Glen Mazzara (Executive Producer and Show Runner) and Danai Gurira (Michonne). Here's a thread for anyone who wants to talk about what happened/what was discussed on The Talking Dead. Of course there is a strong chance for spoilers as they will probably talk about future episodes.

I love it when they have people from the show's cast and crew (special effects, makeup, sound design, etc)--which is most of the time, but the other celebrity guests usually don't have much worthwhile to add.

If there's talk about the comics I'd rather it only be limited to the prison storyline. Plus theres already a comic/walking/talking dead spoiler thread.

Yeah the problem with your other thread is the title. When you say "Spoiler Free" people here are going to assume that No Spoilers are allowed.
So we're treating The Walking Dead like Game of Thrones huh?

That was my mistake. My intention was spoiler tag free. 
But even in these threads I guess we can spoiler tag future spoilers for the comics and show.
So yeah, this will be treated like GoT. Problems arose in the episode threads because people thought things from The Talking Dead was okay to talk about in episode threads, and then some of us would talk about the comics...it all got a bit out of hand.

I didn't watch season 1 of The Talking Dead. I'll DVR this today and hear what Mazzara has to say along with the actress who plays Michonne.
The host seems kind of douchey and that's the only turnoff for me.
