Only a slight delay in most East Coast/Central markets -- it's starting 2 minutes late if you had the Broncos/Patriots game.

That bull-riding race was the lamest thing ever. I thought they'd be riding the bulls, but they just sit there while someone else drives?

I really hate seeing teams get screwed by cab drivers getting lost, but I also don't know how they would fix that.

Oh great, it looks like the Twins can be in for the long haul.

I sure wish they showed what her prosthetics looked like before she eliminated.

I thought I would hate the Chippendales but it looks like they're having fun and that one with the drawl is just hokey enough to be funny and not annoying.

Yeah, but he's gay and we already have more than enough of those on this season.

Agreed. First saw it and thought it would be great.

Sad elimination for a team that appeared to be strong. Especially after watching those sub teachers, who had basically given up. Would have been great to see them passed up at the end, but I don't even think it was that close.

Honestly? I'd say immediate placement in a future season.

It is completely unfair that they lose because the cab drivers don't know how to get somewhere, which is their JOB!

And yes, I'm extremely biased having a disability myself.

Yeah, that's my one grip with TAR -- that teams can get screwed over by a shitty cab driver or a delayed flight. It is a part of contest, and has been for a long time, but it's almost like eliminating teams by a roll of the dice.

Does it make me extremely shallow that I kept seeing Amy and thinking "damn she's hot is it just wasn't for that legs thing"?

Sucks that my favorite team is gone, onto the blondes I guess.

Not really rooting for any team yet. The twins get on my nerves.

The twins get on my nerves, too. Not in a big way... just mildly annoying...the way the one keeps playing with her hair, it's like she thinks it's some great feat that she has long hair. :/

I really liked the amputee team.. not sure who I'll root for now... none are really awful... will have to watch a couple more eps before I'll be pulling for any team in particular. I don't like the sub teachers.. he made me nervous just watching him in the balloon roadblock.

The substitute teachers. The twins (tomboys). Just too many.

That's probably why Daniel has been dating her "on and off".

I really didn't see that elimination coming. That being said, those twins are exceedingly annoying.

Re: The Amazing Race 21 -- "Long Hair, Don't Care" -- 10/07/12

I like Amazing Race but the whole cab driver thing is the reason I don't "love" it. This episode was the perfect example. The team that lost was mainly because of their cab driver. All while the show "helped" the monster truck drivers by letting them catch up after a poor decision made on their own part with the plane.

The bunch ups always bug me. I know why they do it, but it would be interesting to see a team finish several days ahead of the others. But even if that started to happen suddenly the next public monument they had to bungee jump from or whatever would be mysteriously "closed" on Wednesdays and Thursdays and oh-what-a-coincidence-the-rest-of-the-teams-caught-up-on-Friday.

If I remember correctly, the first season winners finished way ahead of the others. I'm sure they don't want to risk a repeat.

Re: The Amazing Race 21 -- "Long Hair, Don't Care" -- 10/07/12

Then there was the season where on the final leg Rob/Amber got on a flight that would have them finish the race hours ahead of the second place team until the plane astonishingly taxied back to the gate to pick up the trailing team. Even Big Brother would be ashamed of that magnitude of manipulation.

Yeah, is that the one where one team checked in in Alaska at least a day after Phil and crew left to meet the teams at the final leg?
