Bioware Co-Founders Leaving Company

Thought this was fairly significant, since Bioware has been one of the better game companies out there. Even if their most recent stuff has been up for a lot of criticism with Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, and The Old Republic MMO. Not to mention partnering up with EA.

Good for them, Bioware has been slowly going downhill for a while now. Maybe they'll start up another amazing company.

Not in gaming, based on their going away messages.

Sounds like EA broke Dr. Zeschuk, from the tone of his letter. The tinfoil hat part of me thinks that they both have a non-compete clause that they're having to abide by, and if/when that expires, one or both of them will be back in gaming with a new company.

Anyway, peace BioWare, it sure was fun for awhile.

BioWare hasn't been BioWare for a little while now, so this is no big surprise. Guess it's time to resubscribe to Ultima Online in their honor.

So I guess this is the final bullet in the twitching corpse that was once BioWare.

I wonder if they are being blamed for the failure of The Old Republic?

From what I read, someone SHOULD be blamed for TOR.

Re: Bioware Co-Founders Leaving Company

I know that Bioware has steadily gone downhill since EA stepped in, but this is disheartening news. SW: KOTOR (XBOX) and Mass Effect (360) are easily my two favourite games (and I've played thousands, so that's saying a lot). I will miss Bioware and it's creators, but I expect this isn't the last we'll hear of them.

The game between SW: Kotor and Mass Effect was Jade Empire. It sucked.

Re: Bioware Co-Founders Leaving Company

I guess its just me, but I still liked ME3 and Dragon Age 2, so Bioware going "downhill" is still putting out higher quality games then most companies out there.
