New Boxee User - Help, Suggestions/

So I just got Boxee and I was wondering what are your favorite apps, etc. Any of you add things to it from the internet or know of good sources to find out information? Just starting with it so I'm a bit new to it all. One thing I'm really trying to figure out is how to watch the TV shows I watch now on the Boxee, but without having to pay for each episode. I'd love to hear your expert advice, tips and tricks. Thanks.

Maybe I picked the wrong area to post. Do you think movies or TV talk is a better place for my post?
Perhaps it's just that there aren't too many on Boxee here?

there is a "Streaming Media" forum that would be a better place to post.

I use a Boxee Box to watch files that are located on my computer. works great for that

Asking in the Streaming Talk forum would probably get the attention of more Boxee users. Boxee also has their own forum which is a good source for info.

One of the apps I really like is Navi-X. They get tons of video content from various sources. Netflix and Crunchyroll are both great apps, but I use the Roku to watch those. TWiT and revision3 are both good if you like the old TechTV stuff. The YouTube app is fine, but I hate the user interface. Personally, I don't use the Boxee apps much. I find them to be buggy and they crash often.

The reason I love Boxee so much, is it's ability to stream content from my hard drives. I've got a Synology NAS with about 12TB of videos. Boxee keeps them all organized and ready to watch. This is the one thing that Boxee does well, and they do it better than any other set-top box.

Thanks for the links and tips. Now I'm trying to find a good list of repositories. I have found Navi-X, but have not been able to make it work.

Here's a couple Boxee sites I had bookmarked. Some of the info might be out of date.
