Count everything: your car radio, background music, etc.
I can usually get in a good 2–3 hours per day.

My daughter has music playing pretty much continuously at home, not sure if that counts. At work, when I need to get into a zone to work on a document, I crank some thrash metal (with headphones, of course). On my commute, I generally listen to talk radio, but I usually play a couple songs just before arriving at work to get the blood going a little. So, on average, music is playing 4 or 5 hours a day. I love Spotify on my laptop, don't know how they make money, but it's great have millions of albums to choose from for free.

On work days, at least 8-9 hours, then about an hour more with driving, or at home.
On days off, maybe an hour.

Re: How many hours do you spend each day listening to music?
The easy answer - as many as I possibly can.
Most days, that usually translates to about 8 to 14 hours, since I can, and do, listen to music at work. Plus there's the drive to and from work, any workouts I might do that day, or whatever recreational listening I may do at home. On off days, probably not as much. Unless I'm working around the house, or if I'm listening to something at a friend's house, it's maybe only a third of that.

I'd venture a guess at 3 hours on average per work day and 30 min on weekends. I generally listen to a lot more podcasts.

Probably three hours. Used to be more. But I play a lot of Netflix and whatnot in the background now. For instance, I'm doing my morning work, with Archer playing in the background (via Netflix).

On a work day I'm usually listening to around 7 hours of music.
Some days though, 40 gigs of music doesn't feel like enough variety.

I feel like we had this thread pretty recently. I'd say I average about 9 hours a day, although that might be conservative: 7-8 hours at work, an hour in the car, 30 minutes if I go for a run, occasionally listening to music at home, etc.
