Covert Affairs -- "Suffragette City" -- 9/11/12
Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Episode 9 of 16
This aired last night. Forgot to post it. I realize most here who probably follow this week to week are probably behind.
FYI, after episode 10 airs next week, the show takes 3 weeks off and comes back to finish the season.
I haven't chimed in much recently on this show, but this has been a surprisingly really solid season. Alot darker and more serialized.

They are missing a golden opportunity for the path this show could take. The DCI could decommission (burn) Annie. Augie could quit in protest and Danielle takes on the role of providing them a safe house when they need one. They could help out ordinary citizens who get in trouble while they try to show that Lena was the one responsible for the leak and that Annie shouldn't have been burned. Joan could be their sympathetic ear withing the agency feeding them information and helping them where she can. Oh, wait...that plot sounds familiar to another show I think...
Maybe now they can live up to the title of the show where Annie and Augie have a covert affair. It's obvious he has feelings for her. Him proposing to the sister of his friend never felt right and I'm glad it fell apart.
Actually the Lena angle should have been spread over more episodes but I have a feeling it gets wrapped up next week.
