I have read reviews at AudioReview.com. I want to hear if anyone hear has any of these sets and whether they are worth buying. Price is certainly a consideration, so if a good deal exists on these sets then please let me know. I read the JCPenny deal and may consider that for the Sony.
If there is a TV I have not mentioned that is good, then please let me know that as well. Thanks for all your help.

I have the Sony FV16 Wega model. It's one step up from the one you mentioned. $750-800 depending on where you shop.
I absolutely love it. I've never seen my DVD's look so good! For the anamorphic squeeze trick alone, it's worth it to spend a little more on a Wega than a standard 4:3 set, IMHO.
2 tuner PIP; anamorphic squeeze without having to enter the service menu (it's in the standard setup menu); component and S video input (on a separate input so you can use both) plus 3 other composite video inputs.
It's a great set. You can't go wrong with it! http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have the CZ32V51 and couldn't be happier with it. I also use the Tosh 6109 player/receiver and the component picture looks incredible.

I have the sony KV-27FS12 and wholeheartedly reccomend it. It is a great TV. The 16 x 9 enhanced mode for anamorphic DVD's is amazing. It looks great for cable, and especially great for video games.

A couple of days ago, I had received a JVC AV32D201, a 32 inch D-series. It has component video, S-video, composite video and RF inputs. As a bonus feature, it is able to do the anamorphic squeeze (suppose to be off by an inch or so) via service menu.
I am sure that you can buy for less than US$700, probably around US$550-$600 plus applicable taxes and shipping. I believe that it lists for US$750 in the U.S.
Advantages: It's got a very good picture. No Velocity Scan Modulation (VSM/SVM) so edge detail is good. Approximate weight is 125 pounds. The picture tube is fairly flat, flatter than the Toshiba's IMO. 800 lines resolution.
Disadvantages: It's off-the-air reception is poor. It's almost as wide as some 35-36 inch TV's (due to speakers on either side of the TV). It only has one RF input. For a few $$$ more, the 32D501 model adds an extra S-video and 2 tuner PIP.

I agree with David about the JVC AV32D201. I've had mine for about two months. I originally purchased a Toshiba 32A40, but the tube died on the fifth day of ownership. I returned it and spent an extra $50 to get the JVC. IMO, it has a better picture than the Toshiba. I paid $650 at Circuit City.
