Of course this is coming. I've recently bought a few more of the sets nearly completing the run.

I really want to buy the Japanese blu-ray set but the price is really high. I may just end up buying this.

Ridiculously high. I would not cop. Plus I hate Japanese text on menus etc

I hope Universal release the blu-ray collection soon to US since they already have the masters and it looks better than these standard discs.

I don't want to purchase on dvd only later to find out the blu-ray is coming out in US. Also wondering if they will add the 24 movies to the blu-ray collection if it ever comes out here.

In Search of.... is a Holy Grail of mine! Is it really the complete series? I found this on Amazon.ca

http://www.amazon.ca/Search-Leonard-...6098641&sr=1-1

but absolutely no details or specifics. There are over 100 episodes! How big must that set be?

Re: Columbo: The Complete Series - October 16

So nobody seemed to notice but the final set in the Columbo series in Region 1 is not in its original 1.33:1 ratio, but all the episodes in the 94-03 years are CROPPED to 1.78:1. This includes the complete boxset.

If you want the original 1.33:1, get the UK PAL region 2 discs. (called "Series 10, volume 2")
