Sucks to be Total Recall.

It had a $200 million dollar budget, correct? Why would anybody in their right mind green light that amount of money? Did they really expect to make a profit?

$125 million which is more than Live Free or Die Hard ($110 million) or the first three Underworld films combined. Sony released it in Asian territories day-and-date with the American release, but it's underperforming in those areas as well. So, yeah, I don't know why Sony gave it such a high budget with actors who normally don't headline big budget features.

Sucks to be Total Recall.

At least it had action scenes unlike Bourne. Ugh.

So it looks like TDKR will cross $400M either Wednesday or Thursday. Not bad.

Hopefully Expendables 2 will do well next weekend.

TDKR is up to $835 million worldwide.

Len Wiseman makes one yearn for the subtle intricacies of Brett Ratner...

Amen, and for that reason Total Recall will be getting my blu-ray dollars but not The Bourne Legacy.
