Antiviral (B. Cronenberg, 2012)
Didn't find a thread on this.
Trailer for the next generation Cronenberg's debut physio-horror film. Looks like Brandon is a chip off the old block.

p.s. Anyone know how to embed Yahoo videos?

Somehow read this thread and watched the trailer thinking it was David Cronenberg directing. Kind of disappointed to find out it isn't, but it still looks interesting.

^ It is David Cronenberg's son. The movie definitely has similar themes to early David Cronenberg films.

I'll definitely see this. As Numanoid said, It mirrors the themes of early David Cronenberg flicks, which is freaking awesome.

I saw this tonight. Brandon Cronenberg did a Q&A at the end. It was a noir-ish body horror with elements of dark satirical humour. I have some mixed feelings about it, but overall, it was a good film. Absolutely worth watching and more satisfying than his father's latest, Cosmopolis. I might edit this post with more thoughts when I've had some time to think about it.

Saw it yesterday and loved it. Mix a bit of Rabid & Shivers with noir and sprinkle it with TMZ and you have Antiviral.
It seems like Brandon Cronenberg knows his stuff and although it has some of the themes of his father's films
he has created something all his own. I really dug the acting, story & cinematography.
