Just a heads up:

Five Star DVD just lowered their international shipping rates from:

$9.95 plus $2.50 per item

to:

$2.50 plust $2.50 per item

The original rate wasn't too bad, great to see a store doing it right for those outside the US!

Good move, but still waiting for disks ordered 13/Dec-2000. Excellent customer service though when complaining. Hope to get the (replacement)disks soon.

(Anyway ~$10 was just simply unfair, wasn't it?!)

Are thier not laws that restrict th importation of pornographic material ? Maybe you are waiting for your package as customs has kept it.

I doubt there's any customs regulation in place. On the other hand 5star explicitly says shipping to Germany thus I guess others would have already reported issues getting their orders. I hope the package was just lost due to the x-mas rush. As a matter of fact they were excellent in immediately shipping out a replacment order which I hope to get soon.

Having said so, is there anybody else from Germany having similar troubles ? I'd appreciate someone helping me to find out if this is an illegal thing or not )
