Bachelorette (d. Headland, 2012) - Dunst, Wilson, Fisher, Caplan
Regan (Dunst) is used to being first at everything. Imagine her horror and chagrin when she finds out the girl everyone called Pig Face (Wilson) in high school is going to tie the knot before she does! But Regan sucks it up and takes on bridesmaid duties along with her childhood pals: substance-abusing, promiscuous Gena (Caplan) and ditzy Katie (Fisher). The single ladies are determined to put their bitterness aside and have an awesomely hedonistic bachelorette party. Armed with acerbic wit and seemingly endless supplies of coke and booze, the foul-mouthed femmes embark on one very long and emotional night filled with major wedding-dress panic, various bodily fluids, and cute ex-boyfriends.
Isla Fisher as Katie
Lizzy Caplan as Gena
Rebel Wilson as Becky
Kyle Bornheimer as Joe
James Marsden as Trevor
Adam Scott as Clyde

Is this a comedy? Because honestly, from that trailer I couldn't tell.
One of the things I hated about Bridesmaids was how unlikable the characters were. These characters look like even worse human beings.

Rebel Wilson might get overexposed with this and Pitch Perfect coming out within a month of each other

You can get this On-Demand before it's out in theaters. A friend bought it and we watched. I liked it more than the Hangover, but I wasn't a huge fan of that to begin with so that's probably not saying much.
Definitely had some funny moments, but it felt pretty slow. Easily worth a rental over seeing it in the theater. I think Adam Scott and Lizzy Caplan were the highlights.

I enjoyed it a good deal, it was certainly better than a lot of theatrically released comedies in the last couple years and I am kind of surprised at the VOD launch for it.
Yeah they're all pretty terrible people, but that rarely bothers me in a movie, the leads are great in their roles and I laughed a good bit.
It does seem to pull back a little in a few parts but I don't get the divisive response the movie is getting.

I thought it was ok. Some funny parts, but I do agree it felt slow. I actually had the opposite feeling of Jamie Rich, I thought, " For A Good Time, Call " was a lot better than this.
