Breaking Bad--Madrigal--7/22/12

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Spoiler:
Walt and Jesse seek out an unlikely partner for a new business venture. The DEA follows up new leads in its investigation.

Written by Vince Gilligan
Directed by Michelle Maclaren

In celebration of my first live episode, I wanted to put up the episode thread for this week. This show is amazing. It may sound like hyperbole but I think this may be one of my favorite shows of all time. My hope is that they don't end up pulling a "Lost" in this final 2 season stretch. Great job by everyone involved and the only bad thing about this show now is that I now have no new episodes to watch back to back and have to wait like everyone else

Its not hyperbole to say it is one of your favorite shows of al time.

saying its one of the most awesomest and amazing shows ever in all of history is hyperbole.

That scientist is not a natural German speaker. I can speak the language and could barely understand him.

Interesting that the writers are bringing Germans into the story.

Re: Breaking Bad--Madrigal--7/22/12

Of course, as soon as I turn it off and just DVR the second showing tonight the audio gets fixed.

Oh well, I'll just have to wait an extra 90 minutes. That Small Town Bullshit show is only 30 minutes long, right?

There goes Aaron Paul, once again demonstrating why he deserved that Emmy. I don't know that I've ever hated Walt more than I did in that moment with Jesse crying.

I'm watching in SD...small price to pay for audio. Sucks about Hank's boss having to take the fall.

Agree.

Wow shit is going out of control in all directions in this episode. It's coming unwound and you can see this all leading to chaos.

All with an M60 and three cans(I got a screencap there's three not two) hanging by a horse hair over everything like that famous blade of royalty.

Holy shit. They're all folding like cheap suits. Mike's going to go with plan B from that bitch with the tea. No half measures now.

Mike, as jaded as he is, is going through all kinds of unpleasant realizations lately. I think it started with the box cutter and the acid barrel.

Nice showcase episode for Jonathan Banks. Two for two.

Re: Breaking Bad--Madrigal--7/22/12

Keeps getting better and better. Mike is so awesome. The interrogation scene was great. I've never hated skilar as much as most seem to, but she's definitely the least interesting part of the story right now.

Can't believe this run of episodes is 1/4 over already.

Gus's wife/fling and his daughter? The counting in Spanish bit seemed like it was implying that.

Another great episode

So I can't be the only one wondering this: what's the logic behind replacing the original ricin cig with another one so Jesse can find it? Why not just use the original?

Re: Breaking Bad--Madrigal--7/22/12

I believe that was Gus's wife. Mike was smart not to tell her who killed Gus.

Hank inadvertently gave Mike the motivation to join up with Walt/Jesse when he told him about the 2 million being taken.

I thought the spanish was just because of the nanny ... but she obviously has to have some tie to Gus to become his precursor supplier, so it may be possible that she's his beard.

I'm not sure I get why Hank's boss is in trouble ... because he didn't follow up on Hank's leads? Otherwise, no one saw it coming.

I think it was just a storage place ... not a delivery mechanism. Jesse's mind just went worst-case-scenario on it getting lit up.

From they way they were acting, that is apparently some scary shit and not something you wanna just throw into a roomba for show. As others have said, I too loved that interrogation scene. This show can do no wrong.
