No Disc message

I have a Sony 530D and just moved to a new Apt. only 4 miles from my last
one. When I hooked my player back up it wont recognize a disc is in it.
All it says is "no Disc" Ive tried different discs, single, doubles, audio.
Anybody know whats going on???

That sounds familiar!!!!!!
I brought my Sony 530D in for the modification(the mod for the audio problem) a few months ago and when I got it back it started doing what you are describing. I usually find away around it though. I should of brought the darn thing back to the place that repaired it.
If you try unloading and loading the DVD it should eventually recognize the DVD.

This happened to me again this weekend. I had to put the DVD in and out 4 time before it would recognize the DVD.
Anybody else out there seen this problem before.
