Hi,

Do any of you guys know if this R2 version of the film will be censored in any way (compared to the theatrical showing).

I've heard that UK censorship is very strict, and I wan't the real thing, without anything censored out.

Other than that, I think it's a great initiative -- to release a new movie on R2 DVD before the release date on R1 hasn't even been announced (other than 1st half 2001), and even making it a cool 2-disc edition.

Pimping the shop you work for is an advert, Braddy (err... venusXL), and probably not allowed. Plus, it's not the cheapest place by a long way, too.

As mentioned above, Amazon with a £5 referral coupon, or Play247 (http://www.play247.com/) have it for £17.99 with free postage to anywhere in Europe (they don't ship to the US -- what a shame).

http://www.play247.com/play247.asp?m=t&t=88508&r=R2

venusXL could maybe have sweetened the deal by also pimping the £10 off £40 purchase coupon for the Gameplay shop he works for. But that's expired now.

Just placed my order for Snatch right now using a referral gc, but a funny thing happened. On the item description page, the price was listed as 19.99pounds but when I was checking out, the order confirmation page listed the movie at 17.01pounds. Needless to say, I applied the referral gc, and I got the whole thing shipped for 14.96pounds ($21.92US). Muhahaha... I love these little surprises.........

I found Snatch for £14.50 at www.mx2.org.
I wanted to order a couple copies shipped to the US, but they told me that they are no longer accepting internet orders to the US, because they had too many fraudulent orders.

Oh well, looks like I'm gonna buy from dvdstreet this weekend when they have their 15% off happy hour.

Here's the link for everyone else...

Can anyone tell me if PAL will work on DVD-ROM drives in the US? I have a region free DVDROM and regionfree DVDsoftware, but I don't know what the deal is with my monitor ie. whether it is PAL or NTSC. I thought these were just for TV's. Since the Snatch DVD is in fact PAL, can I still play it on my monitor?

Does anyone know of any coupons, etc. for amazon.co.uk? I'm interested in getting Snatch, but naturally I would like to avoid paying the full £20 (or £17 without VAT) if possible.

I'll take an Amazon UK referral if anyone has a spare

they appear to work better than the US version.

thanks
