Thought I would throw this out there.

What is your favorite serial drama that is currently airing on TV right now? Your probably going to have to think pretty hard about that.

Alot of procedurals currently airing have serial arcs, but I'm trying to keep those out of the mix.

On the poll, I tried to stick with stuff that has aired at least 1 season and gets some discussion here.

The Good Wife and Game of Thrones for me. Though many on the list are good, those two are my tops.

I'm going to go outside what's popular here and say The Good Wife.

Although I'm a big fan of alot of these shows on the poll. I know lawyer dramas aren't exactly super popular in this forum, but IMO, The Good Wife is probably one of the smartest shows on TV right now with great guest stars and good performances from all the core cast members. They do a great job contructing compelling serial story arcs that carry over episode to episode.

I would say Walking Dead, but I didn't like Season 2.

I guess I'll go with The Lying Game. That turned out better than I expected.

Breaking Bad and Walking Dead are the only ones I actually watch, so I chose Breaking Bad.

GoT is in my opinion one of the best adaptations for TV I have ever seen. I like a few other shows on the list but none come close.

Gut reaction is Breaking Bad since I just powered through all 4 seasons for the first time. However after looking at the list I think Fringe edges it out by a nose. It has such a grander and fuller story, and has characters that, you know, are likable. Coming in at 3rd, I'd say Walking Dead.

I still have Game of Thrones and Homeland to watch though. I have high expectations for both.

Breaking Bad is the best show on television right now so I'm going with that. Dexter and Mad Men are both really great as well. I haven't watched all of Game of Thrones or Boardwalk Empire yet but they both seem really good too.
