Hello,
I currently own a Kenwood VR-357 receiver, CD-324M and a Toshiba SD-2200 DVD player along with a set of Bose 301 speakers. I found a pair of Infinity RS-5's for $375 that I'd like to purchase to add to my system. First off, I was wondering what peoples impressions are of the price -- and secondly, would the RS-5's make a good matchup with my setup? (I'd like to use them as front channels)
Thanks for your time!
Regards,
Keith

The Infinity RS-5 are a find choice for your front channels coupled with your 301's as surrounds. I personally have a pair of RS-5's that I purchased online for $199 each. The price that you were quoted is great due to the fact that they have discontinued this model in light of the new Interlude Series. For people on a budget, the RS-5's definitely have a great bang for the buck. My set up includes a pair of Infinity RS-5's, an Infinity CC-3 Center, a pair of Infinity QPS-1 Quadropole surrounds, and an Infinity HPS-1000 15" 1000W sub. This was the best setup I could afford for my budget, and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the advice. I actually found a decent deal on a pair of RS-8's and picked those up. They should be delivered by Monday and I'll be sure to post a note with my opinions of my revised system!
