I like Jimmy Fallon's show. His singing + skits are funny on TV but not funny enough to warrant buying a CD or downloading the tracks on iTunes or Amazon.

I'd rather hear a Dane Cook or Dice Clay album than this.

It still boggles my mind that Jimmy Fallon hosts a late night talk show on network TV. He isn't funny at all, he's a terrible interviewer, and he doesn't have a great screen presence. I don't get it at all.

Thanks for including a link to the original track. I thought the tune was sort of familiar.

Yeah I'm no fan of Fallon but I'd listen to his schtick all day before I'd listen to two seconds of Dane (never said anything funny) Cook. He's the only reason I can't listen to internet comedy radio.

It was explained to me that his success and the incredible guests he books on his show are the result of the time of day the show shoots. I can't remember what that time is at the moment But BIG tallent like Niel Young and Springsteen and Dylan don't do morning shows and they don't do Letterman because of the time of day those shows shoot, but Fallon shoots somewhat late, like 8 or 9 pm and because of that he gets all these huge guests.

Haha. I take it you are you an IT guy?

Jimmy Fallon is a great sidepiece for Leno. They're both very polite and fluffy. Leno is really don't humor for an older generation now. Fallon does that really friendly, silly stuff for the Facebooking 20-somethings.

I'm too anti-social to enjoy it, and really love my meaner, ruder Conan and Kimmel. I like my Triump and Cousin Saul.

And getting stuff from The Roots non-stop and making them a large part of the show is the evolution of the late night bands.

Re: Jimmy Fallon Blow Your Pants Off Album

Some people still think it is 2009 and Fallon sucks.

He had a shaky start but he has a solid show now with the Thank You notes, funny skits, Tebowie, good impersonations, and even Obama did his show.

He is the same age as me so I respect him lol.

It's 2012 and he still sucks. He will suck every year after that too. If you think he's funny I know some hilarious knock knock jokes you'll love!

Re: Jimmy Fallon Blow Your Pants Off Album

Fallon had the last laugh since this album won the Grammy for best Comedy album.

Jimmy Fallon won his first Grammy last night. Blow Your Pants Off, a collection of songs from his talk show Late Night that features appearances from Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, and Eddie Vedder, took the "Best Comedy Album" prize.

This was Fallon's second-ever album. His first album, 2002's The Bathroom Wall, also received a Grammy nomination when it was released but lost out to Robin Williams – Live 2002.

The others nominated this time around were Jim Gaffigan, Tenacious D, Margaret Cho, and Kathy Griffin.

Last year's winner was Louis C.K. for Hilarious.

Re: Jimmy Fallon Blow Your Pants Off Album

Fallon isn't my favorite of the late night talk show hosts but he's sort of grown on me. His humor is pretty simple and he mostly plays it safe but it's not terrible. I actually bought this album and find it sort of funny.
