Pretty good season premiere. I laughed a few times. I know not many people in this forum were fond of this last summer, but it got better as it went along.

Ratings are also up from last year.

I enjoyed this show last season and liked the premiere too.
Quite a few laughs. The only problems I had were Bash's courtroom flirting and them being offered partner so soon. (And mainly the latter.) Glad to see Nealon's character drop the countersuit for money.
Looking forward to the season, although, not liking to see 10 episodes. The last show I liked that had 10 eps for season 2 got canceled after a great season.

Forgot to mention there was so much smoking hot eye candy.
Malcolm McDowell's assistant (the Asian chick)
The Cop who Bash was flirting with was also pretty damn hot.
And even the court stenographer and her long legs.
And of course there were some random hot chicks just passing by.
The only characters that I think are annoying are the legal assistants, the Uni-brow Indian guy and the young black girl.
^^ And yeah Shamus, TNT normally renews moderately rated shows with 10 episode orders. If it gets really good ratings (Rizzoli and Isles, Leverage and The Closer), it will get 15 or more.

Loved last season, but this premiere seemed like too much smirking going on. I hope they don't lose what was great about last season with bad writing this season.

They've said in interviews there is a specific reason why the two of them were offered partnership that will be revealed round the end of the season.
