Waaaah? Dora swings with monkeys, battle nefarious Russians and man-eating ants for a certain transparent cranium? Hey, I might watch that. Does it include lead-lined refrigerators?

$32.99 for the Breaking Bad season 4 DVD. I know it has a bonus disc, but still.

I really should not even be thinking about it at that price, but I only saw S1 in February (after buying it for $12.99 during Black Friday), and I very much want to see S2 if it keeps up the same level of quality. I'll have to go to Target at least twice next week, I don't know if I'll be able to resist the temptation.

Still better than the $37.99 for Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Second Season. Without any Exclusives.

I've heard good things about BB, but haven't yet had a chance to check it out. I'm sure you're right about the fans though. Some people always have money to burn, and others are just really big fans.

Hopefully Target doesn't pull their typical b.s. where only the DVD version of a set gets the bonus disc. I'm going to pick up Breaking Bad: Season 4 on Blu-ray and would like the bonus disc as I'm a huge fan. Also nice price on Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 8.

That is a good reason to buy the PLL, and one that I hadn't considered. I'll still feel bad if I see it for $10-$15 at the end of the year, but I may have to risk that.

Re: Target DVD prices (June 3rd - 9th, 2012)
It used to be that way about three years ago that only DVD get exclusives, but for the past couple years, all the exclusive bonus discs are packed with both DVD and BD. And even more recently, some bonus disc packed BD is actual Blu-ray too, whereas in the past, even the BD set is packed with DVD. So there's nothing to worry about. Except for the price...I haven't start my collection on Breaking Bad yet because I'm thinking about getting it all at once next year. But, I'm a sucker for Q&A bonus disc. sigh...

I'm not sure if this is too obvious to mention but if you use that $5 off coupon from Disney doesn't that mean you can get John Carter for 19.99?

Re: Target DVD prices (June 3rd - 9th, 2012)
And if you get another Disney Blu-Ray at the same time (it doesn't say if it's ANY Disney title or just certain ones) then you'll get another $4 off on each of those 2 BDs (pro-rated, not bundled as BB does which requires you to return all or nothing), plus the Red Card gives you another 5% off if you have that. This is why I typically prefer Target over Amazon or BB or Walmart, but I have Amazon credit so right now I'm torn between Target and Amazon or Walmart. Too bad I can't find a list of all Disney BDs at Target without having to go there.
I also avoid using mfg. coupons at Walmart since a few times when I changed my mind and ended up returning a movie, each employee took it on him/herself to manually deduct the mfg. coupon in spite of what the register said. The only problem is that none of the Walmart employees are bright enough to grasp that the mfg. coupon comes off AFTER tax, so every time this happened they tried to gip me the tax on the coupon and it required me to demand a manager and became a big hassle to get back exactly what I paid rather than less than I paid. I said never again will I use a coupon at Walmart on something that there's any chance whatsoever I might return (or find a better price)... only on food which I eat and I can't return (unless I were to barf it back up into a bag). And I haven't bought a movie with a mfg. coupon at Walmart since then (a couple years ago I think).

Just went to a local Target and none of the Blu-Ray sets had a bonus disc sticker (only the DVD set)

Just a quick FYI, if your going to get Breaking Bad (DVD) double check the disks before you leave. I was there when the store opened, they had 3 copys on the shelf, and two of them had two copys of disk 3 and 4.

Re: Target DVD prices (June 3rd - 9th, 2012)
Thanks!
Is the bonus disc inside the case or wrapped on the outside? Just wondering if I could getthe bonus disc out and still sell the DVD set without opening it up since I want to get the BD set.

Re: Target DVD prices (June 3rd - 9th, 2012)
I just came back from Target. If you haven't bought Tron Legacy yet, now is the time to do so. With the $5.00 coupon off John Carter, that brings it down to 19.99. Then Tron Legacy is on sale for 9.99, plus if you buy both, it's $8.00 off. In the end, you are basically paying 1.99 for Tron Blu+DVD Legacy set. You probably could buy others to get the savings (I think the Pirate Blus were included) but I was already planning on buying John Carter.
I'm not surprised to hear that the 2D version works in the deal (if that's what you were saying) given that 2D versions usually work for the 3D version mfg. coupons. However, I like 3D so much that it's always worth paying $5 more and sometimes up to $10. My real rule is that a new release 2D BD can't be more than $15 ($16 in a stretch) and a 3D can't be more than $20 ($22 in a stretch). From my deal notes it appears that I paid $15.99 for Tron Legacy 3D after 2 coupons when it was first released.

Re: Target DVD prices (June 3rd - 9th, 2012)
Anyone get the bonus disc for BB s4? Is it on its own inside the slipcase or inside one of the 2-disc cases? Is the bonus disc long and/or worth it? Are the cases inside wrapped? Asking because I pm'ed BBy for $20, but would like to take the bonus disc out and resell since I also got the BD that I am keeping.
