Interesting. 3 out of 10 got you items not for sale in the store...

Will have to save a little bit of my next reload to see if anything interesting comes out next year. (already going to be stocking up on future gifts next reload because it seems like I own everything in the store (Sorority Babes in The Slimeball Bowl-A-Rama for those I like and Evil Bong 3-D for those I don't)).

Re: Full Moon Mystery Grab Bag - ends June 1

Received mine today too. Got:

Killjoy doll,
Killjoy 1 & 2 dvds,
Troll dvd,
Haunted Casino dvd,
Puppetmaster trading cards,
Puppermaster Stickers,
and some tickets to some premiere that happened last month?

I'm not a doll/action figure collector so gave it to my sister. Overall was happy with what I got, was hoping for a Full Moon T-Shirt though.

Ordered 2 more mystery boxes today. One for my sister and another one for me :-)

For $15 I might give it a shot, but shipping almost doubles it to $27

So $27 for maybe 4 DVDs and a bunch of knick-knacks? Sadly, I'm still tempted.

Shirts are a mixed blessing since you get to deal with different sizes.

Demonic Toys was large and I already had that in the same size, from years ago when they screwed up an order and sent it to me in compensation.

Evil Bong 3 is XXXL and the rest are XXL.

I'll also admit that I liked what I got enough to get a few more.

It's not too bad, even taking into account their 50% off sale. 4 DVDs would be $20. Let's be nice and say $10 for other stuff but the mystery is priceless. Now you've come out ahead

Work has been so busy lately that a mystery box was fun.

My first order was less than $20 including shipping (but I live in Oregon so maybe that's why it was cheaper, I don't know).

Then when I ordered two more boxes last night. The total came to $40.13

20 was $29.87

edit: Forgot to mention I'm in Oregon. They ship from CA.

I live in PA, and shipping for 1 came to 11.14. I guess it makes a pretty big difference where in the country you are.

Re: Full Moon Mystery Grab Bag - ends June 1

I just got a quote for 12:
USPS Parcel $35.12
USPS Priority $66.80
Sounds high, but at under $3 per bag on average, it's acceptable. More than I expected, but considering I have an Evergreen card, it's a deal overall. I had no idea what to use my Evergreen credit on anyway, until they produce more titles on BD. After buying 12 mystery boxes (for $215 shipped), I still have $50 left, plus it will refill once more time. Considering this really only cost me $72, I'm sure I'll more than get my money's worth. Hoping for some shirts (XL or XXL) and rare goodies like Peepers got. Unfortunately, I will likely own most of the DVD's they send me, but you never know...

So for those who have received theirs already, how long did it take from when the order was placed, til you received it? And is each mystery bag truly individually bagged, or you just received a giant box full of a ton of stuff, even if you ordered let's say 10 bags? I may give a few as a gift, if they are individually boxed...

If anyone gets an extra Blus they don't want in the bags, I'd buy em.

When I ordered the first one, I ordered on the 23rd and got it on the 29th... The 24th I got an email stating my order had shipped including a tracking number... I havent gotten a package has been sent email for my second order so Im thinking this time they are busier with orders and will take longer to get here. Time will tell.

My second order was shipped this morning... maybe the more you order the longer it takes them to process and ship? My first order got to me faster than i expected and i didnt do the express shipping. This second time looks like will be as fast :-)

I got a giant box just filled with stuff. I look at it as good since there isn't a size limitation to what they give you.

I ordered 20 more the same day you did and haven't got a shipping notice yet. I know it won't make them pack it any faster but I paid for priority shipping since it was less than a dollar more. I also live in a weird location where mail from there goes to WA before coming back down to southern Oregon. That ends up adding a few extra days with regular shipping that I'd like to do away with.

Re: Full Moon Mystery Grab Bag - ends June 1

Well got my second box today. I must say, this time I'm somewhat disappointed.
Got 3 shirts and some stickers. They all are my size and see myself totally wearing 2 of them.
However, was hoping a dvd or maybe even a blu ray in there but no.

Mostly im disappointed cause I ordered 2 mystery boxes and unless there's another box coming... :-(

Re: Full Moon Mystery Grab Bag - ends June 1

What's the Troll DVD? Is it the double feature from MGM? I can't find any listing for a Troll DVD on Full Moon's websites. Troll is a special movie to me, the video box scared me to death when I would see it at the store. If there's some kind of SE I would love to own it.

This, but it's not a combo pack with Oblivion, nor does it have a Harry Potter sticker on it.

Fascinating! Has anyone who has the Troll DVD watched it? Are there any supplements? Transfer quality?

I can check supplements when I get home. It'd be this weekend before I could take a couple snapshots to compare transfers.

MGM seems to be the better release. This looks a lot like the early releases they did for Subspecies/Trancers/Puppet Master and no special features.

Thank you for the report. What a curiosity, I wonder why they made it if they can only sell it under the table.

Re: Full Moon Mystery Grab Bag - ends June 1

It's not really under the table. You can thank Paramount for the situation. It was from back when Paramount had the rights to distribute in the US but decided not to do anything with the titles. FM could distribute outside the US, so while it's an import, it's region free.

Paramount just doesn't seem to like horror in general. Look at Friday the 13th, there's all sorts of ways what they've released could be improved but they don't give a crap.

I was very curious myself, so thanks for asking. I love that movie!

Does anyone know if there is a way to purchase "the seed people" without buying the Full Moon Classics volume 1?
