There is something special about enjoying a film in a theater, surrounded by fellow film lovers. Although there has been an increase in annoying cellphone usage in theaters over the past decade, many of us have fond memories of viewing classic films on the big screen. If you are looking to rekindle your appreciation for some Pixar classics, there’s good news, everyone – AMC and Disney/Pixar are teaming up to return four Pixar films to theaters for one weekend only. Find more details after the break!

Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, and Toy Story 3 are heading to select AMC Theatres across the U.S. for Memorial Day Weekend. Dubbed “Disney Pixar Summer Movie Weekend,” the four films are the most recent Pixar feature films (pre-Cars 2, at least). Packed with fantastic writing, originality, and a wide range of emotion, this is going to be one special weekend. From May 25-28, each of the four films will screen once at participating theaters.

The prospect of viewing Pixar classics in theaters is exciting by itself – however, each film print will be accompanied by an exclusive look at the upcoming Brave, enlightening viewers on the story of the monstrous demon bear Mor’du, who is a force of nature in the film. Prices for the screenings start at just $6, though there is some fine print that says “pricing may vary.”

For a list of participating theaters, visit AMC’s official website.

-Had no idea about this till yesterday. Saw Wall-E today. Wish they'd advertise this more I'd bet more people would go if they knew this wass playing!

Why go with the most recent movies that are still fresh on everyone's mind? I know Nemo is getting the 3D treatment so that's off the table, but toss Toy Story 1, Incredibles, A Bug's Life and Monsters Inc up there for people that missed them on the big screen(although I'm not one).

Who missed these on the big screen? Maybe I'm getting old because I've seen all the Pixar movies in the theaters and they don't feel ancient to me.

The only ones I've missed on the big screen are both Cars movies.

Thank you Mr. Trebek. My answer is What are "Four Pixar movies I don't ever care to see again?"

Children shouldn't be going to the movies.

Children shouldn't be going to the movies.

So Pixar movies are completely meant for adults? You know that's not correct, right? Not even the creators think that.

I didn't see Toy Story 1 & 2, A Bug's Life or Monsters Inc. in the theaters.

Would have loved to see Monsters Inc., since it's my favorite Pixar film.

Never saw any of the Cars films, Bug's life or Ratatouille in theaters. I love all Pixar except Cars. I merely like the 1st one and will never see C2.

No, no, I was just making a blanket statement that children shouldn't be going to the movies.
