I was able to pick up 2 Roku 2 XS at TRU B&M. Some stores are out, so ymmv, but a good deal, if you can find it. This is the highest Roku 2 model they offer and has wifi and wired as well as the USB port and gaming remote.

Some stores may be slightly higher, depending on original MSRP.

Went to a Toys R Us near me and they said they didn't stock it anymore. No mention of it in the store flyer either. YMMV, I guess.

I think that this is similar to clearance, I am guessing tru is getting rid of it from their stock. You can check Google shopping to see if your local store has it in stock. Inventory isn't real time, but if it shows oos, then no point in going.

Huge thanks for this. I was looking for an all-inclusive streaming option and this would appear to be it. My TRU had one left, so I nabbed it.

That is a great price, but does this mean that they will be releasing their next generation Roku in the near future?

Do a google search on Roku Stick and you will see this:

https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSPth_U5b5Crlk6rOmkcZgu5_8yp-8P3wGkTCVmSwfHaQA2w_B_xw

which plugs directly into your TV and does not need to be plugged in to the AC outlet. But will only work with newer TVs. From a review:

...One major caveat: the entire Stick depends on a special type of HDMI port called "MHL," which only a few current TVs have at the moment...

On a side note and not nearly as good of a deal as the Toys-R-Us deal, Sam's Club and BJ (and probably Costco) have Roku 2 XS bundles which include an HDMI cable and 2 months of HULU TV for $89.

You can order it online for in-store pickup, if your store has it available. None of my 4 stores do. :( One showed limited availability on Google Shopping, but TRU.com says all stores OOS. It is NOT available for shipping.
