There's only 3 episodes left, all three should count.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Prince of Winterfell" -- 5/20/12

This ep. was kind of dull as far as plot was concerned, but it seems next week will definitely remedy the lack of action from this week. However, where this one seemed to lack in progress, it made up for with very fine acting. The chemistry between Varys, Tyrion, and Bronn is great, and it seems they also have gotten a fine start on the Jaimie/Brienne dynamic. I hope Maisie Williams continues to get work after this, as she really has talent.
The whole Robb and Talisa thing is falling flat, but I did kind of dig the "nothing on but boots" approach to sex.

I wasn't real sure on that either, or if it was just cersei thinking she is smarter than she really is..(again).

I got the impression that it was Varys himself who misled Cersei. He knows about Shae but he likes what Tyrion is doing as Hand so did him this one favour to keep him "in the game". Poor Ros, I bet she's thinking she should have stayed up in Winterfell now!

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Prince of Winterfell" -- 5/20/12

Nice episode, moving along everyone's story. Sure, it's all set up for the final two episodes, but that's just par for the course, right?

The only thing I had trouble with was Osha walking around Winterfell in the daytime. Made no sense to be hiding under their noses AND in plain sight.

Interesting timing that next week's big battle episode (and the biggest episode of the series so far) will air during a big American long weekend when many will be out for big BBQs and other social events. Hope you guys can get back in front of your TVs by 9pm!

I think even Cersei is smart enough to know not to trust anything that comes out of Varys' mouth.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Prince of Winterfell" -- 5/20/12

So no more Arya/Tywin conversations? I don't understand why err... Hot Pie is it, is considered a friend. Hasn't he been teasing her the entire time?

I saw that "Robb is betrayed" description when I looked at my cable guide and thought for the worse. I mean losing the Kingslayer is bad but definitely not what I was expecting. Then he went and had sex, so he's toast.

I am surprised that Cat let Jaime go. I figured she was going to cut off an appendage or made sure that there would be no more Joffreys to appease what's his name.

Stannis' journey seems like its taking forever. He needs to talk to Littlefinger about how to travel.

All this time I thought Robb was marching on Kings Landing but in checking the map on HBO's site, "The Crag" is on the west side. I thought he was trying to rescue his sisters and get revenge on Joffrey.

Not every episode can be an A+.

I thought this was a nice setup episode for the last 2 episodes which the season has led up to: War.
