Next Food Network Star Season 8 (2012)
What are people's thoughts on this year contestants and the new formatting?
My GF and I always choose who we think will win after the first episode. I've predicted the previous 3 winners (and really, Adam should have won season 3), so I'm on a hot streak. My GF got to pick first, so I knew she'd take Michele. I then got Judson, she picked Justin and I rounded out my team with Emily.
I think of those 4, there's a good chance they'll go far. I'm guessing it is going to come down to Michele vs. Judson in the final. If Emily drops the 50s schtick, she's got potential. Obviously, I'm banking on that.
But really, this is Alton's competition to lose. Not only do I like the personalities on his team best so far, I think he has the best production knowledge of any of the mentors. Sure, he lost the first one, but she was chaff anyway.
