Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Detective Britten (Jason Isaacs) doesn't know who to trust when the truth behind the accident begins to reveal itself and a high-ranking conspiracy threatens both of his realities. In a moment of frustration, Britten decides to take the law into his own hands and goes after Detective Hawkins (guest star Kevin Weisman), putting himself and Bird (Steve Harris) in the crosshairs of the conspirators. Captain Harper (guest star Laura Innes) is instructed to clean up the mess. Later, when questioned about his partner, Detective Vega (Wilmer Valderrama) begins to have concerns about his Captain's intentions. BD Wong, Cherry Jones, Laura Allen, Dylan Minnette and Daniela Bobadilla also star.

Episode 12 of 13

Next week is unfortunately the series finale.

If they don't, I'm going to be seriously pissed.

I'm betting the conspiracy will be solved, but not the whole going between two realities. Between this and Terriers, I hope Laura Allen's next show lasts more then one season.

Pilot was great, the rest of the episodes were mediocre, and then the writers finally stepped up with an excellent episode. This is how the series should have been all season.

Finally watched the episode, it was awesome. The finale looks even better.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode. I also disagree that the season has been mediocre. This entire season has been top-notch. If they made any mistake it's that it took about 3 shows to really get rolling.

So sad no one is watching this.

It hasn't been perfect but I've really enjoyed the show and didn't think there was any truly awful episode. Don't like the wife. Still don't think they mesh well. Every time she's on screen without Britten she comes alive, with him she stinks. And the male psychiatrist (usually love that actor) is just too condescending. He just seems like an ass where the woman seems to want to actually help him. Those are my two gripes. The show is great.

I'm sad this got cancelled. One of the better one-hour serial dramas out there. And I was looking forward the serial-killer storyline - the one about the guy who suspects there's something more to Britten and is headed for Oregon (though they're no longer going). But I do hope they wrap up the conspiracy story.
