Doctor Who 1974-1981 The Tom Baker Years

So I recently saw one of these episodes and fell in love with Baker as the Doctor.

Is the entire 7 year run a good watch?

Is there any DVD deal out there to get all the episodes?

YMMV, but I consider roughly around Terror of the Zygons (which isn't on DVD yet) up to around Image of the Fendahl to be not just Baker's best years, but the pinnacle of classic Doctor Who. But mostly you can't go wrong with the guy.

Don't know if there are any deals currently, but you can't go wrong with these episodes:
Pyramids of Mars
The Brain of Morbius
The Face of Evil
The Robots of Death
the Talons of Weng-Chiang
Horror of Fang Rock
City of Death

This is a very good thread to find info on Dr Who DVDs:

It looks like Tom Baker's serials are almost completely on R1 DVD, with only stories 80 and 109 not released or announced.

Note that Netflix Instant has a lot of Dr Who serials available for viewing.

And if you can't get enough of him on DVD, he is currently reuniting with Louise Jameson and Mary Tamm in a new series of Doctor Who audio dramas for Big Finish Productions . . .

It's too bad these can't be included as DVD extras, like the newer Twilight Zone audio dramas are on that TV show's blu-ray sets.
