Okay, so we finally get somewhere in this investigation.

Manga Tattoo guy (Alexi) is the son of Piotr Michalski, someone that Stan killed when he was working with the Polish Mob.

So it appears that Alexi might be the prime suspect right now and everything is tied into Stan's dark past.

Does Stan know that Yanek and his goons are running some kind of shady operation and using his trucks?

Best line of the night when Holder was asking Linden about her past with the FBI guy they visited.

Holder: "Ahh yeah, Linden's rocking the booty call. Call 1-900-Linden"

Sarah: "You do realize there isn't enough numbers there?"

Now we know for a fact that Holder isn't dirty and was suckered by Gil, his sponsor.

I was a little annoyed at how Sarah went to Regi and demanded Alexi's file, especially without a warrant.

Darren has become pretty insignificant so far this season, especially now with his paralysis.

I fast forward through all the Darren stuff. Once they ruled him out, he should've been off the show.

I just hope they don't pull a season one type 'red herring' with this.

And yeah, I don't know what the point is of continuing the Darren story.

They stick with the Richmond story because they still need to find out why he was framed for the murder. Maybe Linden and Holder will start to dig into that mess.

It was great from Linden telling Holder that "they were in this mess because he fucked up".

Yeah.

That's because the killer is still in those scenes. And I don't mean Darren.

I believe you may be right. I don't buy the "simple" outcome of Alexi being the killer. It's too neatly wrapped up for this show.

The killer is not going to be someone we just met 17 episodes into the series.

http://suspecttracker.amctv.com/breakdown.php

According to AMC's suspect tracker, which fans vote on, people are now thinking it's Alexi.

Janek is 2nd with 15%

For the record, I never said Alexi was "the guy" especially with over 2 months left in the season. I think the person is someone we've already met.

Has anyone tried to watch the first episode again?
Just to see if there's any clues there.

I've gotten to the point where I don't care about anything in this show except the Linden and Holder story lines. I really like Linden and Holder and all the police stuff; the rest of the show just bores me.

Actually, I can't disagree with this...I think the "fans" who stuck around are primarily watching for the Linden/Holder interaction than for resolution of the murder. I was the same way with TWIN PEAKS...it was a lot more fun to watch when everyone was a suspect. Once we know who killed Rosie, the "rewatchability" factor of THE KILLING is going to nosedive.

There is no way Alexi is the killer.

Re: The Killing -- "Ogi Jun" -- 4/15/12

The more they drag this out, the less I care how the killer is and why they killed her. There's a balancing act in all this, and they went way overboard dragging things out.

Re: The Killing -- "Ogi Jun" -- 4/15/12

Obviously, there is some connection between the underworld boss and the mayor. The mayor was involved to frame Darren. So the story seems to be more about that story unfolding than the actual murderer.
