I was a fan back in the 90's but why is it on VH1 Classic?

It is on daily now and not just a short marathon for one day or weekend.

VH1 Classic was one of the few remaining music networks on TV and now Viacom or the same people who ruined MTV and then MTV2 now want to ruin VH1 Classic?

MTV2 just shows repeats of old MTV shows.

Is this the beginning of the end for music on VH1 Classic and they will start airing repeats of old shows instead of music related programming?

Hasn't VH1 Classic been showing movies for years?

Purple Rain is on right now. Granted, that's at least music related, but still. Coming To America is on later tonight, and the only way you can even consider that music related is that Eddie Murphy recorded "Party All The Time".

MTV2 is now the home of Saved By The Bell: The College Years and The Wayans Bros.

I don't see Married...With Children as a sign VH1 is going down the crapper, it's more a testament to the longevity of The Bundy clan.

I hope VH1 Classic does not become like MTV2 but in 2013 or 2014 there is no more music on VH1 Classic adding Married with Children was the beginning of its demise.

I remember watching VH1 Classic in 2002 or so and it was far and away my favorite channel. I loved their 80s blocks.

In 10 years people will be like I remember when MTV 5 actually played music instead of all these damn Suburgatory and Malcolm In The Middle reruns.
