Animated gif thread becoming too gruesome?
Since the gifs returned without jiggling boobs it has become a let's top this gruesome gif thread.
A few of people being killed have popped up and also including today someone having a leg snapped.
It's too much.
It's one thing to see someone fall on their face but does there need to be people dying and legs snapped In half too?
I don't care if it gets a spoiler tag or not, these gifs aren't appropriate here and if people need to see them it's easy enough to do with a google search.

I agree. At the very least, those posts should have NSFW tags. But even still, there's a big difference between typical "NSFW" stuff and real people dying or getting dismembered. I don't know where the line should be drawn, but I'm not a moderator/admin.

I gotta agree. Those gruesome gifs are pretty disturbing. The thread need more cute kittens and less dead people.
I wish this board had a NSFW section. Then we'd have a place for bouncing boobs and gruesome gifs.

Where would you draw the line? It's okay if you can't see any actual damage being done? It's easy to say no boobs, but what is "too much" with regards to bodily harm?
I'm not opposed to those gifs being discouraged. I don't have a problem with them, but I can see the potential for taking things too far.

I don't think it's too hard to figure out. If you see someone die, like the guy on the train who was electrocuted to death and the woman hit by a train. That's too far.
Breaking legs and arms in half is gruesome and not funny. Doesn't belong.

If there are too many more pics like the black girl performing oral sex on the pop bottle, my wife isn't going to appreciate me spending a whole lot of time at DVD Talk anymore. Are we changing the name of Other to Sex & Mutilation Talk now? -kd5-

Maybe you should ask for your wife to take your balls out of her purse so you can re-attach them.

KillerCannibal, not for debate: your comments didn't take this thread in a useful direction. Please think carefully before posting.
Larry_C & kd5: please... this isn't a schoolyard...
Others: please (continue to) report the offensive posts and anyone who we think is crossing or continuously skirting the line most likely will earn themselves a suspension.
Thanks in advance to all for their understanding and cooperation.
