South Park - Jewbacabra (4/4/2012)
No new thread for this yet? Glad to see a new "holiday" episode of SP. The best part was Kyle and Cartman re-enacting The Great Pumpking scene with Lucy and Linus.

I did chuckle when Cartman was recalling the Jewbacabra story and Butters screams and runs away.

I missed it, too. Looking back, I'm guessing it's when Kyle sees Cartman chained in the park, puts the blanket on him and walks him home? I haven't seen 'Pumpkin' in 20 years, so this is all off foggy memory.

When Kyle wakes up the next morning and walks out to free Cartman he has a bolt cutter and a blanket. He frees him and walks him asleep back to his bed where he takes of his shoes, lies him on the bed and completely covers him with the blanket. Lucy does almost the exact same thing the morning after Halloween for Linus who has fallen asleep in the pumpkin patch.
As usual a Cartman/Butters episode is always good, but this was more than that. I too am interested to see if Cartman has an angle. The last exchange has me wondering.

I haven't seen it but from the title of the episode they are refering to "Chupacabras" an animal said to be reported first in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the States.
Its reported the animal kills livestock and sucks its blood. The translation of the name Chupacabra means "Goat Sucker"
So I don't think its making fun of any show specially Big Foot but like I said I haven't seen it yet. Will watch it tonight.

Kind of strange to end the episode with Cartman ostensibly Jewish, I wonder how they plan on developing that.
I also wasn't sure if they were singling out Judaism for having a violent God or just all Abrahamic religions. It seems like they were trying to make a point but I'm not sure I really got it.

Yeah, I, too, wonder if Cartman's newfound Judaism is going to stick or if it's just a one-off gag.

I loved the part where Cartman was in ancient Egypt and the Pharaoh is a really nice guy. God won''t punish us but I feel bad for these frogs. Then Cartman goes down to play with a lamb then the Jews grab it and slit it's neck so they can put the blood on the door frame.

I finally got to see this one. I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite of the season. I didn't laugh one time, but I guess I liked the charm of it. Shows you what a true friend Kyle really is even through all of Cartman's crap.
