Street Fighter 2 animated DVD questions
I want to get this and trying to find the best version. It boils down to either the 2006 US release or the 2006 Australian release, since both versions have a 110% uncut Japanese release. Is that correct?
Now upon research I am seeing conflicting reports on the AR of these releases.
For the 2006 US release amazon reports it as 1.33:1

but other sites report it as a non-anamorphic 1.85:1

I'm assuming the latter is true about it?

The Australian and UK versions would also be PAL and have higher pitched voices though right? I'd assume if you want the best version, and the U.S. one is indeed widescreen, that you should go with that one.

But if the UK/AU versions are anamorphic AND the same AR as the US version, I'd say that makes it better. No?

Could be just me but I don't even notice the pal speed up.
That being said, anyone know the AR of the pal versions? Is it OAR or a cropped Widescreen?

No one seems to be able to tell me if the AU release is cropped or OAR. So I just went ahead and ordered a "like new" copy of the US release for 9.76 shipped from half.com. Says it has the disc, case, and artwork. At the very least it's cheaper than the AU release.
