It depends. Usually, the OSG will indicate if it's two episodes by showing both titles (at least for me). If you're referring to Mad Men, it looks like it's just one episode.

It's either episode 1 of 12 or episode 1 & 2 of 13. Whichever you prefer.

If your talking about Mad Men, It's 2 episodes. Tonight's episode has 1 episode title, but it's considered Part 1 and 2
