I'm guessing if one of the new 30 minute sitcoms like Whitney, Up All Night or Chelsea would have bombed and get canned, this would have aired sooner and gotten more episodes. Wednesday was really the only logical place to put it.

I consider myself to be up on shows, but I honestly had no idea what this show was. I was going through my PVR to see what was scheduled when I saw a "Bent" listed. No idea. Looked at who was in it. Didn't remember seeing them promote it at all. I remember seeing Peet's name listed on some talk shows that I didn't watch, so I guess that this was what she was promoting. It's the least publicized show I can ever remember.

I haven't seen the show yet but I do think that photo in the OP is the worse photochop job ever. That guy is huge compared to Amanda Peet.

I made it through the first one, but I didn't watch the second. I never heard of the show either so it was a surprise to me, but I figured since they were debuting it against Modern Family, it was a throwaway. If they would all dial back the smarminess a little bit, it could have been good.

I enjoyed it but won't miss it when it's gone. Good for a quick time filler with a laugh or two.
Best part of the episodes was the daughter getting advice while he's stealing the lumber.

Watching JB Smooth on this was weird. I expected his lines to sound more like "I fuckin fired those backtalkers. Now lets go stab some bitches with our dicks".

David Walton is a great comedic actor. Eventually he will get on a show with halfway decent writing or one that becomes a hit despite a bad premise and horrible scripts(CBS Mondays)
